My my... yeah yeah, yeah yeah... my my My my... yeah yeah, yeah yeah ... World Gone Crazy Right now I'm losing my mind not making a dime And the world's gone crazy I know all in due time it will be fine But still it's all so sad So in my living room I'm spending my time not being lazy News drops like tears from the sky What's the truth or the lie? You know it makes me so mad Look out and see beyond Mother Earth she cries for us lately There's more to life than this for you and I Can't afford to take it no more let's tame the roar and be anti-racist Don't shut the door to injustice and poor We need help not war When it's all gone so bad Look out and see beyond Mother Earth she cries for us lately There's more to life than this for you and I You and I...You and I... Can't afford to take it no more (World Gone Crazy) Can't afford to take it no more (World Gone Crazy) Can't afford to take it no more (World Gone Crazy) Can't afford to take it no more ... World Gone Crazy

Sometimes I wonder how my life would have been If my soul hadn't been placed down here in this body wrapped with skin Had I been a deer struggling to survive Or spend my days in an office avoiding my bosses wandering eyes Had I been a dolphin dodging hooks on the long line Or labour in a factory worrying about your deadlines Had I been a crow on the side of the road Just picking at a carcass minding cars as they go I'd rather be a bridge built so strong Then I could help you carry on I'd rather be a river that rages on Then I could help you find your, find your way home Yeah It's a shame how tame we've become To our own needs and greed we've succumbed Temperature never quite right in my mind I'd much rather be spending my time I'd rather be a bridge built so strong Then I could help you carry on I'd rather be a river that rages on Then I could help you find your, find your way home Sometimes I wonder how my life would have been What would have, could have, should have... I'm still wondering

Hey, did you hear about 'em? Rumours on the street? you got 'em... Little birdie whispering in your ear They say, it burns when the words are spoken Communication lines broken and so You turn your back so they find their place Fly away Break those chains (break the chains, break the chains) Don't be afraid Of what they'll say (don't be afraid) They're going to say it anyway Word on the street rumour going round Little birdie flying all over town Be Careful who you meet Allegedly they've found That juicy little detail just to tear you down Word on the street Rumour going round That little birdie flying all over town Word on the street Rumour going round And round Fly away Break those chains (break the chains, break the chains) Don't be afraid of what they'll say (don't be afraid) Fly away Be the change (be the change) Don't be afraid of what they'll say (don't be afraid) Oh, they're going to say it anyway Hey did you hear about 'em? Rumours on the street going round and round and round

You and Me 03:57
All I want is for him to notice... (Katie) ...How can I get her to see me (Josh) Just sitting here glancing over...(Katie) ...I'm just staring at my drink (Josh) Could there be something between, you & me? I'll have a drink and calm my nerves...(Katie) ...One more shot to work up the courage (Josh) If only I could find the words...(Katie) ...What could I possibly say to her? (Josh) Could there be something between, you & me? If I'd only paid attention I probably would have noticed that You were taking notice of me Not like I'd wanna get married... (Katie) ...I'm not looking for a one night stand (Josh) Never thought about starting a family...(Katie) ...I've always dreamt about starting a band (Josh) Could there be something between, you & me? When I look up from my drink And our eyes finally meet I can feel the sparks happening Now we're walking towards each other One heart beats for another I know that there is something between You & me Oh yeah Something between You & me Could it be You & me Something between You & Me

Lying on our backs in the yard watching stars Laughing 'til the early morning dawn Nothing's going to touch us when we're flying this far I could stay right here forever in your arms When we first met I was young and wreck less You were slightly older but just the same We'd go to parties and we'd stay up past midnight And you'd introduce me to your friends I didn't know who I was, you were trying to figure me out Party with the best of them, there's no doubt Whiskey shots with a beer chaser Nothing but time to waste Away the sorrows of our youthful mistakes Lying on our backs in the yard watching stars Laughing 'til the early morning dawn Nothing's going to touch us when we're flying this far I could stay right here forever in your arms in your arms A blue moon to dance around to hoot and howlin' with the wind Once in a blue moon that I would find you, hoot and howlin' with the wind A blue moon to dance around to hoot and howlin' with the wind Once in a blue moon that I would find you, hoot and howlin' with the wind Lying on our backs in the yard watching stars Laughing 'til the early morning dawn Nothing's going to touch us when we're flying this far I could stay right here forever in your arms Lying on our backs in the yard watching stars Laughing 'til the early morning dawn Nothing's going to touch us when we're flying this far I could stay right here forever in your arms In your arms

I roll out of bed, my body chases my head As I run to the fridge I wonder how in the hell did I end How did I end up here again Good morning my love, awake to the sound of the doves There's that creak of the door It matches the floor and the pitch Of the situation I'm in How did I get here, time and time again How did I get here, my lover & my friend I awake to your sigh, sun bright in the sky And I roll over just For a moment and I close my eyes And I begin to realize Deep down in my soul There's scars and there's holes And the more I can sleep Helps to cover them deep in the folds Until I wake to the cold How did I get here, time and time again How did I get here, my lover and my friend Oh, oh oh... Oh, oh oh... Oh, oh oh...yeah How did I get here, time and time again How did I get here, my lover and my friend How did I get here, time and time again (time and time and time again) How did I get here... And when will it end

about

This six song EP is a culminating reflection of Katie and Josh's own relationship stories. From the early days of when the couple first met, to their take on the world in isolation and the darkness that they were forced to find in order to keep their own lights shining. With songs like the alternative protest anthem "World Gone Crazy' about social injustices & pandemic fatigue. To a sweetly tender & raw revelation, album titled track 'How Did I Get Here' and an all out Country hit 'You & Me'. The album is proving to be their most revolutionary yet.

The FACTOR funded 'Artist Development' project was birthed out of the global pandemic, giving the pairs' songwriting style a fresh perspective. Josh's multi-instrumental talents shine through on the record, as he plays and arranges most instrumentation. Including guitar, bass, drums, harmonica & vocals. With the exception of 'You & Me', a song that was co-written with the bands producer, Brett Humber of Sound Foundry Studios.

The album will be available for digital download, through Bandcamp. Anyone who pre-orders and purchases the album via Bandcamp will be sent bonus items like; lyric sheets, press photos & album notes from the band. The first two singles (World Gone Crazy & You and Me) will be released to streaming platforms on August 6th. Along with physical copies being pressed to vinyl & CD.
