What kind of things are you telling yourself? Are there rumours going around inside your own head? This song is inspired by that very idea. The things that you tell yourself when you're feeling doubtful, scared, nervous and afraid. A mental health check begins, when the chorus hits as KT sings "Fly away, break those chains...don't be afraid of what they'll say". It's dark and ominous tone is intensified with whispers and thoughts stirring, vocal cracks and hairs raising from beginning to end. KT felt compelled to write the song after the couple had just quit their day jobs to become full time musicians. Finding herself feeling worried about what other people thought of them, their decision, and the pressure that was taken on around the situation.
